Russian Championships Dynamic Pyramid 2007

On june 4-15 St. Petersburg's entertainment centre 'Leader' and the billiards club 'LDM-Standard' are the stage for one of the most prestigious Russian billiards festivals, the 'White Nights' Russian Pyramids week.
Between and alongside the Russian Cup and the Longoni Cup on june 3-8 went off smoothly the televised and much publicised mens and ladies Russian Championships. 37 female and 100 male pyramids experts from 41 Russian regions competed for the coveted Russian title.
At the Russian Freestyle Pyramids Championship on march 16-18 Tatyana Maximova from Voronezh could achieve only the 13th place, but in St. Petersburg her time had come - in the final she beat Yevgenya Romodyna 4-2.
In mens division the Siberians were all excited: In the final Yakutia's Alexander Tzhepikov did face Pavel Kousmin from Astrakhan. After a thrilling exchange of blows Tzhepikov with 7-6 captured the title.
Current Russian Number Ones Anna Mazhirina and Yury Pashchinskiy didn't participate cause simultaneously they are representing the Russian flag at the European Snooker Championships in Carlow.
